Customer: Optidealer is a BI & analytics platform for car dealerships providing a 360 view of the business by aggregating and analyzing data from diverse systems across all locations & departments.

The issue solved:

Optidealer is a B2B SaaS analytics company. It acquires data from its customers and ingests that data into its proprietary analytical data model. The problem is that every car dealer company has a different database structure. That’s why data acquisition is a significant bottleneck in the service delivery process. Every new customer is a unique data integration project that leads to a long time to market, delayed revenue, and a bloated data integration team. Optidealer came with a request to shorten and simplify time to market and reduce the size and cost of the data integration team.

Datuum’s Solution

Datuum has automated Optidealer’s data integration processes with an AI engine. We trained our AI engine on sample data so our platform understands automotive data and the process of data ingestion, mapping, and normalization goes in a semi-automated and more effective way.

Result

Using Datuum’s AI engine, we managed to perform a new client onboarding in 10 instead of the 40-60 estimated days. The estimated monthly operating cost for the data integration with the Data Engineering Team of five people was $32 000. Datuum usage decreased this number to $ 10,000 with one data engineer who coordinated the process.
